exciting things are happening!

Hi there! Whether you’re a new reader or have been a reader for a while, I am so excited to announce that the delight of design has made some big and exciting changes!

Since 2017, this blog has been a small corner of the web that I’ve been able to share some of my design knowledge and random musings on every now and then. Over the past 5/6 years, my interests have evolved, as has my writing style (and my geographic location, multiple times)! To keep the blog true to myself, the delight of design is undergoing some major, long overdue changes.

First of all, our name has changed! We’re no longer the delight of design – we’re just dlghtd! Hi, nice to meet you.

Content-wise, while we’ll still be focusing primarily on home decor and interior design, we’ll also be incorporating various lifestyle content into our repertoire. You can expect to see posts regarding plants, career, culture and wellness going forward, in addition to some other miscellaneous topics.

For those of you that have been with the delight of design since our inception, I certainly hope you stick around and grow with us! For all newcomers, welcome! I’m so excited to have you join our community. Be sure to subscribe to our newsletter for some dlghtful inbox content every now and then.

Another huge change is on our back end. We’ve switched platforms and are in the process of migrating the entire site. Some posts are currently available on the site already, and are in the process of being archived. This is a lengthier process that will take some time as we work on formatting and relinking anything that may have broken in the migration. Please peruse at your leisure, but pardon any formatting issues that arise – we’re working on it!

Please stick with us as we get dlghtd up and running on our new platform and build out the new site architecture. This is such a busy and exciting time for us, but takes some time!
